Elsbree Vineyard is on a south-facing hillside in Windsor just off Vinecrest Road. The vineyard consistently produces excellent fruit. Planted on a steep knob, the vineyard has a mix of Pinot clones on a variety of rootstocks. This gives the grapes a superior field-blend of flavors—fruit with plenty of layers and superb depth. Wines from these grapes are characterized by earthy flavors enhanced by structured tannins and well-balanced acid. |
