Consistency is an important element to our style. We cold-soak all the grapes for two to four days before fermenting. We use the same cultured yeast and the same type of François Frères barrels for 11-12 months of oak aging for our Pinot Noirs and 12-17 months for our Zinfandels.

The amazing dark garnet color is driven by the nuances of strawberry, cranberry and blackberry notes. On the nose, hints of crushed rock, and complex minerality are expressed with notes of forest floor and pleasant mushrooms. As the wine opens, blackberry, boysenberry, and cranberry notes emerge with hints of cherry cola and warming brown spice. Peters PN NV Label
2022 Peters Vineyard Pinot Noir

2022 Peters Vineyard

Located a few miles west of Sebastopol on the edge of the Russian River Valley appellation with Gold Ridge soil, lies Peters Vineyard, the backbone of our production and is planted with Pommard, 115 and 777 clones. An ideal location for Pinot Noir, this former apple orchard is blanketed by the cool ocean fog in the morning and evening, coaxing out the grapes’ best flavors.
