2022 Peters Vineyard
Located a few miles west of Sebastopol on the edge of the Russian River Valley appellation with Gold Ridge soil, lies Peters Vineyard, the backbone of our production and is planted with Pommard, 115 and 777 clones. An ideal location for Pinot Noir, this former apple orchard is blanketed by the cool ocean fog in the morning and evening, coaxing out the grapes’ best flavors. The hot sunny days intensify the fruit and create just the flavor profile we are looking for in our wine.
A fan-favorite for a reason, this Pinot Noir is impeccably balanced and truly captivating. On the nose, it offers enticing aromas of dark red fruits and effusive floral notes of rose petal. As the wine opens, its intense candied flavors of cherry and raspberry unfold on the palate, beautifully complemented by a hint of caramel and vanilla. With a medium weight, silky texture, and hint of spice, this wine’s complexity evolves gracefully in the glass. This is the perfect food wine for any occasion and possesses a great ability for wine aging gracefully in your cellar.
